Stacie lived in Oregon for 29 years after her family moved there from as small town in Southern Idaho. Enjoying one of her passions playing softball she meet her late husband on the field. Not only was he the coach but also played right along side of her on 2nd base and Stacie on 1st. They knew each other for about 17 years before they actually tied the knot. Stacie married Hank Sisk knowing he was battling cancer and knew that if they only had six months together it would be a blessing. Together they lived life as if it were their last day together. Doing crazy memory making things with their blended family and knowing every day was a miracle. Checking off Hank’s bucket list together day by day. Before her late husband passed away together they made a movie called The Note, which was a scary movie about a family losing their young daughter to cancer. With the movie premier and the sell of the DVD they raised almost $3000, which was donated to American Cancer Society to help find a cure for cancer!
The crazy spin is a year an a half after being married Stacie heard those dreaded words, “You have cancer!” So together they started the journey to save each others life. Stacie’s book, Angel Kisses No More Cancer, launches in April 2019, about their cancer journey. She hopes that it will touch more lives, giving HOPE and inspiration to even more people.
